Smile Design, Veneers & Crowns
Veneers are thin porcelain shells bonded to the front of the teeth; crowns cover a whole tooth that is worn, broken or heavily filled. Digital smile design plans the shape, length and shade of the new teeth on photographs and a scan of your mouth, so you see a preview before anything is done.

What to expect
The four stages every international patient goes through with us.

Consultation and digital design
Photographs, a digital scan and an X-ray where needed. The new smile is designed on screen and, for veneers, shown in your mouth as a temporary mock-up so you can approve the shape and shade.

Preparation and temporaries
Under local anaesthesia the teeth are shaped as little as the design allows, then scanned or impressed for the laboratory. You leave with temporary veneers or crowns, so there is no gap while the final ones are made.
- 03
Fitting
The final porcelain is tried in, adjusted for colour and fit, and bonded. Where the clinic makes porcelain teeth in one session, preparation and fitting happen on the same day.
- 04
Follow-up and care
A bite check a day or two later, then normal brushing and flossing at home. A night guard is advised if you grind your teeth; regular check-ups with your own dentist keep the margins healthy.

Common questions
How long do veneers and crowns last?
Many years with good care, though no fixed lifespan can be promised: it depends on your bite, on grinding and on how well the gum margins are kept clean. The clinic explains what to expect for your own teeth.
Will my own teeth be filed down?
Veneers need only a thin layer of enamel removed, and in some cases almost none; crowns need more because they cover the whole tooth. The dentist tells you tooth by tooth which option keeps the most of your own structure.
Can I see the result before treatment?
Yes. The design is shown on screen from your photographs, and for veneers a temporary mock-up is placed on your teeth so you can judge the shape and length in the mirror before any preparation.
